M. Tech. Student Selected for Student Exchange Program to University of Gothenburg, Sweden
Congratulations to Aswin Prakash, Third Semester M. Tecjh (Opto Electronics and Laser Technology) Student at the International School of Photonics, CUSAT, for being selected for the student exchange program to University of Gothenburg, Sweden, as part of the Erasmus Plus Agreement between University of Gothenburg and CUSAT. Aswin will carry out his final year project work at University of Gothenburg.
M. Sc. Photonics Students Selected for Student Exchange Program to ENSSAT, France
Congratulations to Hiba Sainudeen, Loraien Raju and Shabina Abbas, final year MSc Photonics students at the International School of Photonics, CUSAT, for being selected for the exchange programme at ENSSAT, University of Rennes, France as part of the International Exchange. Programme in Optical Communications. The three students will be spending the final year of the 5-year MSc Photonics program at ENSSAT, France, under the fully funded program.

Students from ENSSAT, University of Rennes, France are visiting ISP for a Semester and Crediting the courses, as part of the Student Exchange agreement between the two institutions. The students are seen with their Yoga Instructor at ISP.
M. Sc. Photonics Students Selected for Student Exchange Program at UTT, France
International School of Photonics congratulates Aiswarya S and Sreelakshmi S, final year students of the 5-year Integrated MSc Photonics, for being selected for an International Exchange Program at the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT), France.
Both students will be spending one semester at UTT, based on an agreement between Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and UTT. After the completion of the fall semester, the students will continue to undertake a project at UTT or similar institutions in France.

Selected for Ph.D.
Best wishes to Abhishek Sureshkumar, student of MSc Photonics at ISP, who recently joined as a PhD student at the Systèmes Photoniques research group at the University of Rennes, France.
Abhishek is working at the INSTITUT FOTON, ENSSAT, and currently studies whispering gallery modes microsphere visible light sources based on single quantum emitters.

FAS for Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Gopinath
Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Gopinath has been elected as a Fellow of the Kerala Academy of Sciences (KAS), Thiruvananthapuram. The fellowship (FAS) was conferred by the Honorable Governor Sri Arif Mohammed Khan on October 25, 2023 at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram.

Dr. Saji K J, Associate Professor, ISP has been granted Patent (No. 397451) by the Patent Office, Government of India for an invention entitled "Reduced Graphene Oxide - Conducting Polymer - Polydimethylsiloxane composite, Process for Preparation Thereof, and Energy Harvester"
